Terms of use (draft)
What the beta is
Proxie is an early beta run by [Operator legal name]. You can make a driver profile, add your cars and let other people find your public page. The beta is free. Paid plans, highlight clips and physical medals are not available, and nothing is billed.
Ranks, results and medals appear only after organizers publish verified results, so a new profile starts empty.
By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the privacy notice. You must be at least [Minimum age] years old. These terms take effect on [Effective date].
Your account and profile
You sign in with your email address and a six-digit code we email to you. You need access to that inbox, so keep it to yourself.
- Give accurate information in your profile and garage.
- Keep one profile for yourself. Do not make a second one.
- Do not pretend to be another person.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the site or its sign-in limits.
What others can see
When your profile is public, anyone can see it without signing in: your display name, racing number, main discipline, home region, the month and year you joined, and the cars you mark public. By leaving your profile public you let Proxie show this to everyone. The privacy notice lists what stays private.
You decide what you enter. Do not add anything unlawful, abusive or misleading, or personal details about other people. You can hide your profile, or any single car, from your account page at any time.
We may hide a profile or disable an account that breaks these terms.
The beta can change
This is a test. Features can change, pause or disappear, and the site can go down. Profiles and other data can be changed or lost. We do not promise otherwise, so keep your own copy of anything you cannot replace.
We may end the beta at any time. We may change these terms before Proxie leaves beta. [How changes to these terms are announced]
Ending your account
You can stop using Proxie whenever you like. You can delete your driver profile from your account page. That hides your public page, anonymizes the profile, hides your cars and signs you out. It does not erase your email address. The privacy notice explains what stays and how to ask for more to be removed.
Liability and governing law
[Liability and warranty wording: owner or lawyer to supply]
These terms are governed by [Governing law and where disputes are handled].
